What is individual therapy?
This is a one-on-one session between you and your therapist. Your therapist solely focuses on your words and resolves the problems you have.
Any issues that you are going through? Whether you are suffering from depression, self-criticism or social criticism, you can easily speak to your therapist.
The number of sessions depends on each person. Some clients feel benefits within 6-12 sessions, while others need longer-term work.
Yes, therapy is a confidential space. The only expectations are that there is no risk of harm to yourself if required by law. Any concerns about confidentiality will always be discussed with you.
You may notice a change, like feeling more aware, calmer and confident. Some sessions may feel overwhelming than others, but it is normal. We will regularly check in about how therapy is going.
There is no need to prepare; simply arrive as you are. Some clients find it helpful to bring notes or topics they want to explore; however, it is not required.
Our therapists use evidence-based approaches, for example, Personal-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic insights and trauma-informed practices. Therapy is always personalized to fulfil your needs.
